Information Support Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:          

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. College coursework preferred
  3. Proficient with computers and computer software.
  4. Ability to work with multiple people within and outside of district. 

GRADE: 21

REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology

SUPERVISES:     N/A

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work with public on daily basis in a positive manner.
  2. Compile school census data on a daily basis through 100th day and then weekly thereafter.
  3. Compile data for enrollment projections.
  4. Compile data for schools and administrators or various reports as required.
  5. Prepare semi-annual student census.
  6. Audit all student residence addresses and grid codes on a monthly basis, in conjunction with Transportation.
  7. Audit each school once per year to maintain consistent procedures across the district.
  8. Provide back-up information for the IT Liaison.
  9. Provide research reports for District Office and building administrators.
  10. Assist with in-services for District registrars and attendance personnel.
  11. Provide information and support to District registrars and attendance personnel.
  12. Work with Support Services in creating yearly projections.
  13. Train new registrars and records secretaries as needed.
  14. Compile yearly CEC-A and CEC-B reports for county and state.
  15. Address the Governing Board upon request of District administrators.
  16. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board. 

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of IT Personnel.
