Support Technician
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School Diploma or GED
- College coursework preferred
- Proficient with computers and computer
software.
- Ability to work with multiple people within and
outside of district.
GRADE: 21
REPORTS TO: Director of Information
Technology
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:
- Work with public on daily basis in a positive
manner.
- Compile school census data on a daily basis
through 100th day and then weekly thereafter.
- Compile data for enrollment projections.
- Compile data for schools and administrators or
various reports as required.
- Prepare semi-annual student census.
- Audit all student residence addresses and grid
codes on a monthly basis, in conjunction with Transportation.
- Audit each school once per year to maintain
consistent procedures across the district.
- Provide back-up information for the IT Liaison.
- Provide research reports for District Office
and building administrators.
- Assist with in-services for District registrars
and attendance personnel.
- Provide information and support to District
registrars and attendance personnel.
- Work with Support Services in creating yearly
projections.
- Train new registrars and records secretaries as
needed.
- Compile yearly CEC-A and CEC-B reports for
county and state.
- Address the Governing Board upon request of
District administrators.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:
Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be
established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job
will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on
Evaluation of IT Personnel.
