QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
High
School Diploma or GED
2.
BA/BS
degree in computer services or related field or certificate of completion of
technical training in programming is highly desirable
3.
Must
have demonstrated experience in working with and supporting student information
systems in an Arizona school district setting
4.
Familiarity
with business processes involved with SAIS and information systems and general
Information Technology procedures
5.
Knowledge
of student information systems (SASIxp, Powerschool, SAIS, PEARL, etc.)
6.
Must
have good written and oral communication skills
7.
Ability
to work independently

REPORTS TO:
Director
of Information Technology
JOB GOAL:
To help
the Information Technology Department in the development, programming and
support of PVUSD information systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:
1.
Assist
in the implementation of student information systems (e.g. SAIS, SASIxp,
PowerSchool, PEARL, Etc.), their data needs, their support and maintenance.
2.
Translate
detailed program specifications into appropriate computer language code.
3.
Coordinate
installation and maintenance of programming projects with appropriate user and
staff personnel.
4.
Report
status and progress of assigned tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
5.
Will
work on multiple platforms, in multiple programming languages, with
understanding of network operations.
6.
Ability
to work with multiple departments within PVUSD, schools and the IT Department.
7.
Provide
documentation and training to users and staff as directed.
8.
Other
job related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year.
Salary and work year to be established by the Board
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions
