SERVICES DATA TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School Diploma or GED
- College
level business and/or secretarial coursework preferred
- Effective
communication skills
- Knowledgeable
in gifted education and gifted identification procedures
- advanced
knowledge of Excel; e.g., pivot tables, building formulas
- Proficient
in website development
- Reporting
skills: SASI, including building
queries and SAIS
reporting
- Strong
secretarial skills
- Familiar
with Uniform System Financial Reporting (USFR)
- Familiar
with exporting and importing data among various software applications
- Experienced
with integration of Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
(Keynote)
GRADE: 17
REPORTS TO: Gifted Coordinator
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist
in the adherence of District gifted services to state mandates and
District policy.
- Integrate
and track student achievement from various district departments and
programs, e.g., Gifted identification, SELP (AZELA) scores, AIMS data,
gifted service programs and models
- Track
and provide information and data related to professional development in
gifted education
- Communicate
effectively with parents and school staff as related to Gifted Services
- Assist
in the management of the Gifted Services budget.
- Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be
established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance
of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards
policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
