FACILITIES & CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN II – COMPUTERS (formerly Construction Computer Technician)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  3. Knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting and/or Work Order System software applications.
  4. Valid Arizona Driver's License.
  5. Effective communication skills

GRADE: 17

REPORTS TO: Construction Projects Specialist.

SUPERVISES: N/A

JOB GOAL: Provide support to the Construction Department and various trade groups within the Maintenance Department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establish and maintain good rapport with employees and community.
  2. Provide warranty record support.
  3. Field verify building as built plans.
  4. Assist the construction project specialist with the maintenance of the department's plans, blueprints and electronic drawings.
  5. Create and maintain a library of electronic drawings that identify the electrical, plumbing, irrigation and special system emergency shut off location at all sites.
  6. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
