& CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN II

Coordinator of Materials and Services)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of finance and
budgeting.
- Knowledge of general office
procedures.
- Ability to work
independently.
- Experience in construction or
maintenance field.
- Experience with Microsoft
Office Products and AS400.
- Effective communication
skills.
GRADE: 19
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Maintenance
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain good
rapport with employees, community, and vendors.
- Procure items and services
for Facilities and Construction.
- Prepare requests for
Quotations for Facilities and Construction.
- Process purchase orders for
Facilities and Construction.
- Monitor compliance with
established policy, procedures and regulations.
- Maintain department records
related to purchases of services/projects and create reports as needed.
- Other job-related duties as
assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work
year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services
Personnel.
