FACILITIES & CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN II(Formerly Coordinator of Materials and Services)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Knowledge of finance and budgeting.
  3. Knowledge of general office procedures.
  4. Ability to work independently.
  5. Experience in construction or maintenance field.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Office Products and AS400.
  7. Effective communication skills.

GRADE: 19

REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Maintenance

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establish and maintain good rapport with employees, community, and vendors.
  2. Procure items and services for Facilities and Construction.
  3. Prepare requests for Quotations for Facilities and Construction.
  4. Process purchase orders for Facilities and Construction.
  5. Monitor compliance with established policy, procedures and regulations.
  6. Maintain department records related to purchases of services/projects and create reports as needed.
  7. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
