QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Knowledge and work experience in one or more of the
trades.
3. Valid Arizona driverŐs license.
4. Effective communication skills.

REPORTS TO:
Supervisor of Maintenance
SUPERVISES: Maintenance
Technicians I, II, III and IV
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Establish and maintain a good rapport with students,
staff and community members.
2. Perform as a lead person involving the direct
supervision of maintenance employees.
3. Maintain work orders; assign repair requests, assists
in establishing a preventative maintenance program.
4. Assist in the selection, training and evaluation of
personnel under your supervision.
5. Maintain records and makes budgetary recommendations
for all preventative maintenance work done at all schools.
6. Maintain liaison with the District Community Education
Department to coordinate the use of facilities/grounds by community groups.
7. Assist in project management, writing specifications,
etc.
8. Evaluation of equipment (i.e. district copiers,
telephone systems, security, etc.) for district use.
9. Other job related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten, or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions
of the BoardŐs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
