QUALIFICATIONS:
GRADE: 26
REPORTS
TO: Lead Person
SUPERVISES: Maintenance Technician(s) I, II & III
ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish
& maintain good rapport with students, staff & community.
2.
Perform
as a journeyman in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing,
masonry, electrical, refrigeration, welding, locksmith, business machines,
audio visual repair, heavy equipment, sprinklers, sheet metal, carpet
installer, tile, alarm sprinkler systems, special systems, telephone systems or
other trades as assigned.
3.
Physical
activity working outside in all weather conditions including the hot sun.
4.
Record
maintenance/repair documentation as needed.
5.
Must
be able to work various shifts.
6.
Subject
to call outs during evenings, weekends or holidays.
7.
Assist
with design, evaluation and bid specification preparation.
8.
Act as
the school district liaison with appropriate governmental/contract agencies.
9.
Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the BoardŐs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.

SKILL
TESTS REQUIRED: Demonstrate ability to lay out ad build
a wood stud wall to specifications.
Demonstrate knowledge of how to conduct voltage (refrigeration) checks.
