FACILITIES & CONSTRUCTION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II New – (Formerly Maintenance I  ? General Trades/Building Trades/ Special Trades/Ac (Helper); Or Maintenance I ? General Trades ? Grounds)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED,
2. One year experience in Maintenance/Trades fields.
3. Driver's license required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. CDL license

GRADE: 16

REPORTS TO: Lead Person

SUPERVISES: Support Services Maintenance Technician I

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, and community.
2. Assist Support Services Maintenance Technician II?s and III?s as a helper working in various job assignments.
3. Considerable physical activity working outside in all weather conditions including the hot sun.
4. Must be able to work various shifts.
5. Ability to perform general maintenance tasks to include but not limited to landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
6. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
