REPORTS
TO: Distribution Supervisor
JOB
GOAL: To contribute to the overall Distribution
goals by providing helpful support of using sites.
ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish
and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
2.
Coordinate
Return of Merchandise procedures for Distribution stock.
3.
Prepare
change order documents including cancellation notices.
4.
Expedite
“late deliveries” and “product shortages” by contacting vendor and effecting
shipment.
5.
Soliciting
verbal and written quotes from vendors for products and equipment with value
under $30,000.
6.
Coordinate
with schools in determining the types and quantities of books and supplies
needed.
7.
Work
with Purchasing in testing and evaluating various products to determine
appropriateness for adding to inventory.
8.
Interview
vendors and learn sources of supply in support of stock; maintain Distribution
Center catalog.
9.
Determine
re-order points for various stock items.
10.
Process
requisitions for inventory stock and maintenance/service contracts.
11.
Work
with Distribution inventory system in primary areas of order input, receiving
verification, and stock returns, posting, processing orders for sites and
creating reports.
12.
Provide
training and support to using site personnel in entering orders via telephone
and email.
13.
Enter,
record, and track TMA work orders.
14.
Coordinate
sub saving copy paper distribution.
15.
Assist
with year end inventory.
16.
Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to
be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services
Personnel.
