QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
- Previous experience working with school age
children.
- Ability to communicate effectively both
verbally and in writing.
- Ability to relate to staff and children in a
positive and effective manner.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred

REPORTS
TO: Assistant Principal for Instructional
Services
ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
-
Establish and maintain good rapport with employees, community
and students.
- Coordinate
College and Career Center, to include college and career information, scholarships,
financial aid and other aspects of orienting students to post secondary life.
- Maintain
college/career folder for all students.
- Personal
interview with each senior regarding post secondary plans.
- Schedule
visits for 2 and 4 year college recruiters and Armed Services.
- Assist
students with financial aid information
- Match
students to
scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
- Compile
data regarding scholarships and financial aid.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS
OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten-month/five hours
per day. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in
accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support
Services Personnel.

SKILL TESTS REQUIRED: Spelling,
