CE TECHNICIAN 2 (Previously Registrar)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  3. Knowledge of general office procedures.
  4. Effective communication skills.

 

REPORTS TO:  Accounting Technician II

 

SUPERVISES:  Student Aides

 

GRADE:  14

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Establish and maintain a good rapport with students, employees, and community.
  2. Ability to work independently and meet timelines.
  3. Act as  receptionist and facilitate telephone communication.
  4. Accept registrations and payments for community education programs.
  5. Serve as a back-up for office staff.
  6. Register and schedule new students in appropriate classes.
  7. Maintain up-to-date computer records on each student.
  8. Perform general office tasks.
  9. Other job related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Nine, ten, or twelve month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.

SKILL TESTS REQUIRED:  Spelling, Mathematics, Filing, and Typing.
