- High School Diploma or
GED
- Demonstrated general
clerical skills and experience with MS Windows
- Demonstrated knowledge
and ability to utilize office equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge
of switchboard and reception operations
- Possess good
organizational and planning skills
- Effective communication
skills
- Familiarity with
legalities concerning confidentiality of records and information

REPORTS TO:
Executive Secretary to the Superintendent
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate positive
interpersonal interactions with all district staff and visitors
- Respond to community
inquiries regarding district policy and general information
- Provide clerical and
receptionist responsibilities for Superintendent’s Office and Public Relations
Office:
- Assist with
correspondence and incoming calls
- Prepare district
mailings
- Clip newspaper
articles relating to education
- Assist in
preparation/distribution of Governing Board Meeting agendas
- Prepare letters to
donors acknowledging gifts to the district
- Prepare letters to
students who qualify for the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and maintain
notebook
- Maintain Resolutions
file and log
- Research proof of
employment requests
- Other job-related
duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: nine, ten,
or twelve-month year. Salary and work
year to be established by the Governing Board.
EVALUATION: performance of this job will
be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Governing Board’s policy on
Evaluation of Support Employee Personnel
