QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Keyboarding and dictation skills.
- Office management skills
- General bookkeeping ability
- Experience in the use of IBM or Macintosh and word
processing programs.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English required)
- Biliterate
GRADE: 14
REPORTS TO:
Project Esperanza Director
SUPERVISES:
Student aides and/or office clerks
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students,
staff, and community.
- Complete responsibilities of position with a minimum
of supervision.
- Provide an efficient office operation with
organization/planning (i.e., supply orders/distribution, textbook orders,
and cross training to serve as back-up to other office support positions).
- Know district policies and practices and be able to
accurately relate such information to staff, students, parents, and
community members.
- Maintain effective communication between school,
district office administration, and staff related to operation of
school/department.
- Maintain school/department budget.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Nine months
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the
Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
