ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  3. Supervision skills
  4. Knowledge of general office procedures
  5. Effective communication skills

GRADE: 17

REPORTS TO: Administrator

SUPERVISES: School personnel as assigned

JOB GOAL:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
  2. Provide an efficient office operation with organization/planning.
  3. Ability to communicate district policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain effective communication between school, district office administration and staff related to operation of school/department.
  5. Maintain school/department budget.
  6. Supervisors other school personnel as directed by the administrator.
  7. Prepare and disseminate school publications.
  8. Organize and complete office projects as assigned.
  9. Provide backup support to other office staff as needed.
  10. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
