ACCOUNTING CLERK-ATHLETICS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Knowledge of general office procedures
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  4. Effective communication skills

GRADE: 13

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/Administrator

SUPERVISES: Student Aides

JOB GOAL:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establish and maintain a good rapport with student, employees and community.
  2. Knowledge of the district, Department of Administrator and Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) athletic policies and procedures.
  3. Produce and maintain sports schedules, rosters, banquet certificates, correspondence, transportation, time sheets and varsity letters.
  4. Reconciles and maintains complete and accurate financial records for all athletic accounts in accordance with the district and state guidelines, subject to year end audit.
  5. Schedule, confirm and pay all A.I.A. officials for each game.
  6. Maintain accurate eligibility paperwork.
  7. Assists in ordering of supplies, equipment and uniforms.
  8. Other job related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
