21st Century Site Coordinator

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. One-year experience in a public school setting.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in written & verbal communication.
  3. Experience training & supervising staff.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BachelorŐs degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, Recreation, Physical Education or related field.
  2. AZ Teacher Certification
  3. Three years of supervising after-school programs
  4. Grant writing experience

 

REPORTS TO:  21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Manager & Site Principal

 

GRADE: 31

 

JOB GOAL:  To effectively supervise and monitor 21st CCLC site programs.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Design the program to meet the state academic growth in core subjects to meet the grant objectives.
  2. Supervises and coordinates the 21st CCLC site instructors and support staff to include interviewing, hiring recommendation, reviews & evaluations, recruiting and maintain records. Oversees preparation of registration for identified students.
  3. Acts as a liaison with community partners, school staff, students and stakeholders in regards to the 21st CCLC program.  Seeks donations & addition grant finds to sustain programming. 
  4. Works with District & school personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  5. Monitors student attendance rosters, data collection & assessment.
  6. Monitors lesson plans & maintains discipline. 
  7. Designs & Coordinates adult education classes as instructed in the grant.
  8. Oversees payment of temporary staff, collecting time sheets & submitting paperwork to 21st CCLC Grant Manager.
  9. Attends planning sessions and collaborative meetings with 21st CCLC.  Participates in professional development activities provided by the School, District, State and other professional development organizations.
  10.  Distributes and collects pre-survey, post survey, teacher survey. Tallies and analyzes surveys.  Monitors accurate records to complete required Summary of Classes and Annual Report. 
  11.  Other duties as required.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Subject to continued funding, 9-12 month.
