21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BachelorŐs Degree in Education, Recreation, Physical Education, Social work or related field.
  2. 3 years experience with school-age children.
  3. 3 years experience training and supervising staff.
  4. Ability to relate to students, parents, staff and administration in a positive manner.
  5. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal communication.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 2 years experience of supervision of after school programs.
  2. Successful experience in completion of state or federal grant reports.
  3. Arizona teacher certification

 

REPORTS TO:     Director of Community Education

 

SALARY:    $46,000

 

JOB GOAL:    To effectively supervise 21st Century Community Learning Centers and to monitor compliance with grant requirements to assure annual renewal of funding.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   

 

1. Oversee the implementation of the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant

    designed to increase academic growth in an after school setting.

2. Recommend staff for hire, train, and monitor 21st Century Community Learning Center

   (CCLC) classes.

3. Collaborate with schools and district departments to deliver services to students and

    families through 21st CCLCs.

4. Oversee and advise 21st CCLC site coordinators on management of allocated budget.

5. Oversee the procurement of materials from 21st CCLC funds according to

    district and state procurement regulations.

6.  Assist and mentor 21st CCLC site coordinators and assist in obtaining necessary data for state reports.

7.  Collect and analyze student data from each 21st CCLC site and identify needs of the

program.

8. Oversee the payment of 21st CCLC site manager and temporary staff, including completion of the necessary paperwork.

9.  Collaborate with Community Education to ensure compliance with district policies and procedures.

10. Develop, implement and evaluate procedures associated with 21st CCLC.

10.  Other duties related as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   Subject to continued funding from 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant.
