Podcasts

Dr. Courson will be doing a podcast every other Friday which will be available on the website the following Monday. There are three file formats. Based on your computer and/or settings hopefully one of these will work for you.

Ms. Ihnat's remarks regarding the registration process on the 1/15 podcast.

            Registration for the 2008-2009 school year is fast approaching. At the end of January and the beginning of February registration guides and cards will be given to students.  Students will bring this material home to discuss class options for the next school year with their parents. Please review your student’s choices closely.  Our master schedule is created by their choices. If they change their mind later it is difficult to accommodate switches.  It’s also important to weigh their involvement in extra curricular activities, home obligations, jobs, etc. when making class selections.  A heavy schedule of honors and AP will require long hours of study and reading outside class and may hinder outside activities.  It’s imperative that you review your students’ time commitments and make class choices accordingly.
             Students will then register for classes on Family Connections, our new computer program.  Teachers will make recommendations via Family Connections which will allow students to only register for their recommended classes plus their electives. On Wednesday, January 30, students will receive their registration information in their 3rd hour class.  An instruction sheet for online registration will be included. This instruction sheet can also be found on the school’s web site.  Students may complete the registration process at home on their own computer.  Computer labs will be available at school during lunch for students to register also. After completing on line registration, students need to print the course request screen and obtain a parent signature on the sheet. All on line registrations must be completed by Thursday, February 7.  The signed course request sheet and the registration card, completed on both sides, must be turned in to their 3rd hour teacher by Friday, February 8.
