Athletic passes will be $40, this pass will allow students to attend all sports home games for FREE.
Athletic information included in the summer mailer
At Horizon we encourage you to participate in as many activities
as you would like. To help you make your decision about athletics,
the following information and the links on this page (to the right) will provide
general information as well as inform you of what sports are
offered, when that session takes place, and who the head coach
is.
To Participate in Athletics:
- All participants need to have an A.I.A. physical on file
with the Athletic Director's office. The physical must be
done after March 1st this year to be used for next year and
also must be signed by a medical doctor.
- All participants must have passed all classes from the
previous quarter, or made up the same number of failed classes
in summer school. (Summer school classes do not have to be
the same as those failed.)
- All participants must pay a participation fee prior to issuance of game equipment.
- One of the participants' parents and each athlete must have
seen the Informed Consent presentation before tryouts begin
and have signed the drug testing release forms. This video needs to be seen once in a student's 4 years but new paperwork must be turned in annually.

dates are 8/6 and 8/11 at 6pm in the Auditorium and 8/14 at 6pm in the Media Center (other dates TBD).
- District requirements and dates are subject to change. If you

NOTE: Students who transfer may not be eligible to compete
in athletics upon entering Horizon. Please call the Athletic
Department at 602-449-6023 if you have questions about athletic
eligibility.
