Athletic passes will be $50, this pass will allow students to attend all sports home games for FREE.
Family Pass - 2 adults/3 kids non high school - $95.00 school year. With proof of joining the school Booster club the price will drop to $80.00. The Family Pass will be honored by all district high schools but will exclude Invitational, Region and State Tournaments. We will also include a Grandparent Pass for an additional $25.00 per couple.

Athletic Emergency Cards: These can be picked up in the Athletic Director's Office.

At Horizon we encourage you to participate in as many activities as you would like. To help you make your decision about athletics, the following information and the links on this page (to the right) will provide general information as well as inform you of what sports are offered, when that session takes place, and who the head coach is.

To Participate in Athletics:

  1. All participants need to have an A.I.A. physical on file with the Athletic Director's office. The physical must be done after March 1st this year to be used for next year and also must be signed by a medical doctor.
  2. All participants must have passed all classes from the previous quarter, or made up the same number of failed classes in summer school. (Summer school classes do not have to be the same as those failed.)
  3. All participants must pay a participation fee prior to issuance of game equipment.
  4. In order to participate in District organized athletics, stdents and their parents must view the online Parent consent Sports Injury Video prior to participation. A link to this video can be found at:

NOTE: Students who transfer may not be eligible to compete in athletics upon entering Horizon. Please call the Athletic Department at 602-449-6023 if you have questions about athletic eligibility.

Attention all New Huskies and present Horizon athletes!
 
We would like to invite you to stay in shape and run through the summer with our Cross Country team.  This is an unofficial get together.  We meet M-F at 7:00 am between the east side of the gym and the football stadium.  Anyone who would like to run as a group and stay in shape for their sport is welcome. 
 
Officially if you would like to join our Regional Champion Cross Country team,  there will be an informational meeting in room J115 at 5:00pm on Monday August 10th.
