Horizon’s engineering program earned Project Lead the Way (PLTW) National Affiliate Certification on April 22.

This certification is the result of two years of implementation of PLTW’s curriculum and means Horizon has met or exceeded rigorous national standards set by PLTW. In addition to being recognized as a quality engineering program, students enrolled in PLTW classes may now earn 3 college credits, from Rochester Institute of Technology, for each class they successfully complete with an 85% average and score at least 70% on the final exam. Congratulations to the students, teachers and administration involved in the engineering program.
