  • School begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Students may be dropped off at school between 7:45 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. 
    *No playground supervision prior to 7:45 a.m.
  • School ends at 2:30 p.m.
  • Students may be picked up between 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. at the outside classroom door or in the flow zone on the north side of the school.

Tardiness

5 Tardies            
The Parents will receive a letter explaining the importance of attendance.

8 Tardies             
A conference will be held with the teacher, parent(s), student, and principal.

10 Tardies     
Students here with a transfer form will be asked to attend their home school.

 

Absenteeism

3 Absences      
The parents will receive a letter explaining the importance of attendance.

5 Absences   
The students parents will receive a letter explaining the CUTS program.

8 Absences      
A conference will be scheduled with the teacher, principal, parent and student.

10 Absences  
Transfers and open enrollment students might be asked to return to their home  school. The parents will receive a warning letter, which states, at 18 absences you may be cited thru the CUTS program.

15 Absences  
The students may be cited thru the CUTS program.

 

Truancy

(A truancy is an unexcused absence-no contact with the school)

3rd Truancy
The parent(s) will receive a letter listing the 3 truancy dates, the letter will explain the CUTS program and warn that upon the 5th Truancy a citation will be filed.

5th Truancy   
The student will be cited.

**If the student is younger than eight years old, or when a student has already been cited and the truant behavior continues, the parents can be cited.

Late pick-up

Students are to be picked up by 2:45 p.m. every day.  Students not picked up on time will sign the late pick-up log in the office and will work on homework until they are picked up.  Parents are responsible for signing and noting the time of pick-up upon arrival.  Repeated late pick-ups will result in a conference with the principal.  Transfers and open enrollment students might be asked to return to their home school.
