Hidden Hills Elementary PTSA (Parent, Teacher,
Student Association)
Welcome Message
As your Hidden
Hills PTSA officers, we would like to welcome
all new and returning parents to another great
year for our school community. We invite each
and every one of you to join the PTSA. We are
a support system that promotes learning in a
safe and enriching environment. Hidden Hills
maintains a strong and capable PTSA. We are thrilled
to be a part of our school. We will take part
in educating, training and supporting all of
our members. With the help of all of you, we
will continue to establish, sponsor and participate
in a variety of school activities and programs
that help our school stand out above others.
Some activities include: The Winter/Holiday Assistance
Program, Reading is Fundamental, Young Authors,
Art Masterpiece, Yearbook, Teacher Compensation
Supplement, School Pictures, and Community Nights
programs. Because of many dedicated staff and
volunteers, our school has continually won many
different State and National PTA awards and honors
such as: Volunteer of the Year, 100% Teacher
Membership, Support Staff Person of the Year,
Teacher of the Year and Focus on Fathers Award.
Over the summer our award winning support staff
person, DeeAnn Chisman, developed a web site
for our school which was funded through the PTSA.
She has done a great job and we hope if you have
internet access you will visit our website; HTTP://EPAGE.PVUSD.K12.AZ.US/Siteweb/ to
keep you updated on various subjects and activities
at school.
The PTSA will be looking for your
support in the three fundraisers to be held this
year. They are Entertainment Books, Sally Foster
Catalog Sale, and Butterbraid Danish Sale.
You may choose one or all of these to help
support our schools programs. Or if you prefer,
a cash donation is always welcome.
Your time
is the most valuable resource of all. There are
also a few positions that need to be filled.
They include: Membership
co-chair – this person will
help facilitate programs and incentives to
welcome new members and retain current members; Homeroom
Parent Co-Chair – position helps
recruit, plan and coordinate the homeroom parents
and assisting with their needs; and Staff
Appreciation Co-Chair – will
assist in coordinating dinners during conference
weeks and luncheon during Teacher Appreciation
Week.
Trying to stay organized this year? Calendars
with all the most important dates of the year
will be available at the School Warming and
Open House. The price will be $4.00 and runs
concurrent with the school year (August to
July).
Please feel free to contact our officers
and board members for any questions you may have.
We welcome your support and new or different
ideas. We look forward to hearing from and working
with you throughout this year. May we all have
an excellent, memorable and successful school-year.
Sincerely,
Gayle Brideau & Elaina West
