| Because voters approved a K-3
budget override on March 9, 2004, all Paradise Valley elementary schools will offer free,
all-day kindergarten classes beginning August 16, 2004.
In addition to a strong academic
preparation program, kindergarten students will participate in music, art, PE and
library/media services.
Registration begins
in March
2008. Early registration will allow the district and schools to staff the kindergarten
program appropriately and balance classes.
Parents of children who turn 5
years old before September 1, 2008 should register at their Paradise Valley school of
choice. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization records
and proof of residence.
