PTO-funded programs at Desert Trails

Enriching our students’ education is a primary focus of the PTO. Annually the PTO funds two in-school enrichment programs for each grade level:

Second grade	Arizona Science Center – Chemysteries Author Gary Hogg
Third grade	MAD Science – Rocks and Minerals MAD Science – Sound
Fourth grade	Mountain Man and the History of the Old West Southwest Learning Center – Pima Cotton
Fifth grade	Arizona Science Center – Bottle Rocketry History in Motion – Ben Franklin
