Ninth

L.I.F.E. Concepts: The physical education curriculum is divided into two sections (.5 each/ 1 credit total). The L.I.F.E. Concepts course develops the knowledge and skills necessary to continue to maintain good health. An emphasis will be placed on developing the student’s appreciation of an optimum level of physical fitness, through participation in lifetime leisure sports and activities, and health and fitness related exercise programs.  The curriculum also includes instruction from the human growth and development curriculum.

The second .5 of the course provides the student an opportunity to select a PE Choice class. These classes focus on a variety of lifetime and leisure sports (i.e. yoga, pilates, racket sports, recreational sports, outdoor activities, etc.)
