summer opportunities WEIZMANN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE SUMMER 2008 DR. BESSIE LAWRENCE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCIENCE INSTITUTE The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovet, Israel is looking for high school seniors from the United States to join students from all over the world at the Dr. Bessie Lawrence International Summer Science Institute. Participants will be chosen from graduating seniors excelling in Science and the cost of the program will be covered by a full scholarship. Three weeks of the program will be spent conducting laboratory scientific research and the fourth week will take place at a field school in the Judean Desert, near the Dead Sea. Social and cultural activities are planned during free time.
