summer opportunities COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY SUMMER 2008 SUMMER PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Columbia University offers a summer pre-college program for highly motivated freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Students have the opportunity to live on campus, participate in a rigorous academic program, and experience life in New York City. Students can choose from courses in the Arts, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, the Social Sciences, and College Prep. The program will offer students the opportunity to explore the history, art, and urban development of Barcelona. No prior knowledge of the Spanish language is required.
