summer opportunities OUTWARD BOUND WILDERNESS SUMMER 2008 WILDERNESS ADVENTURE PROGRAMS Outward Bound Wilderness offers a variety of wilderness expeditions for students 12 years old through adults. They are committed to making wilderness activities available to all motivated youth and adults and a large number of the people who apply, receive scholarship assistance. Scholarships are offered for both financial aid and merit. Some of the programs being offered this year are: mountaineering in the Rocky Mountains, backpacking, rock climbing, and whitewater canoeing in the Appalachian Mountains, canoeing and backpacking in Maine, wilderness canoeing in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, and others.
