summer opportunities JOHN C. LINCOLN HOSPITAL NORTH MOUNTAIN SUMMER 2008 SUMMER TEEN VOLUNTEER PROGRAM The John C. Lincoln Hospital North Mountain is looking for teen volunteers who have completed the seventh grade and will be at least 13 years of age by August 1st, 2008. Volunteers are asked to work for at least 2-4 hours per week for 8 weeks of the 10 week program. Students must also wear a uniform that indicates they are a teen volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include working in the gift shop, helping in patient care areas, clerical work in several departments, helping at the information desk, delivering mail and flowers to patients, or helping at the hospital food bank or thrift shop. Teen volunteers have an excellent opportunitie to develop job references, learn about healthcare careers, learn new skills, and meet new friends as well as build their volunteer resume.
