summer opportunities WALNUT HILL SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS SUMMER 2008 SUMMER AT WALNUT HILL Founded in 1893, Walnut Hill is an independent boarding and day school for the arts for grades 9-12. Located on a beautiful tree-lined campus near Boston, Walnut Hill has a tradition of offering the strongest summer arts training in the nation. Walnut Hill offers intensive summer programs in the Arts to students from around the world. Three of the summer programs culminate in a supervised trip to Europe to provide participants with the opportunity to experience their art in the historic and cultural birthplaces of Western Art. Course offerings include: Ballet, Creative Writing, Chamber Music, Opera, and Theatre.
