There are a variety of advanced courses to choose from including English Literature, Global Economics, Medicine and the Brain, Latin European History, Psychology, Drama, and several others. THE CAMBRIDGE PREP EXPERIENCE: July 6 - August 1 Open to students completing grades 8 and 9. Choose courses in: Production and Workshop, Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences. THE OXFORD TRADITION: June 29 - July 27 A unique pre-college academic program that brings high school students (grades 10-12) to Oxford University for a month of intensive study and the experience of British college life. Students choose from among 29 different courses: the traditional Humanities and Science such as Literature, Archaeology, Politics, Law and Medicine, and a variety of production and workshop courses such as Drama, Journalism, and Photography. The faculty of Rhodes Scholars, Oxford professors, Art historians, writers, and specialists in many fields provide a truly exceptional experience. L'ACADEMIE DE PARIS: Paris - July 2 - July 29 L'Academie de Paris presents a unique opportunity for enterprising high school students (grades 10-12) to step out of their own culture and experience the life of a University of Paris student. The curriculum has been designed to introduce students to Paris and French culture through a variety of courses. French language is offered at every level, including French immersion courses in Art History, Literature, Writing, Avant-Garde, and Modern French History. L'ACADEMIE DE FRANCE: Montepellier - July 7 - August 3 L'Academie de France offers a program designed to heighten the high school students' (grades 10-12) experience of France, French language, and French culture. Situated in the beautiful, historical, and culturally rich city of Montpellier, students can live in an authentically French city and interact with native French speakers to accelerate their language learning. Courses offered include Architecture, Creative Writing, International Law, Photography, and others as well as French immersion classes in French language, Cinema, and Theatre. LA ACADEMIA DE ESPANA: Barcelona - July 7 - August 3 La Academie de Espana presents an opportunity for high school students (grades 10-12) to step out of their own culture and into the life of a University of Spain student. The curriculum has been designed to introduce students to Spain and to Spanish culture through a variety of courses. Spanish language is offered at every level, including Spanish immersion courses in Art History, Literature, Writing, and Modern Spanish History. Students will stay at the Residencia Universitaria Pere Felip Monlau.
