ELEMENTARY CURRICULUM
At the elementary level, students master standards in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. They also enrich their learning through special programs including music, visual arts, physical education, computer education and drug and substance abuse education.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CURRICULUM —

At the middle school level, all students take English, mathematics, science, social studies, music and physical education. Elective offerings include band, chorus, visual arts courses and career and technical education courses such as business, home economics, industrial arts and computer courses. At the completion of middle school, Paradise Valley students have a solid foundation for high school.

High School Course Catalog
High school students must complete 23 units to graduate.
All students complete four units of English, three units
of social studies, three units of mathematics, three units
of science, one unit of physical education, one unit of career
and technical or fine arts and eight units of elective courses.
To enrich students' lives, there are many extracurricular
programs and clubs that promote involvement, decision making
and higher-level thinking.
Each high school offers at least one Signature Program which consists of specialized and highly focused areas of study. This program provides a unique opportunity for high school students to pursue academic excellence through a thematic emphasis. Students may apply for specific programs at any of the high schools.
