Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new year in technology! I am looking for a wonderful year, as I
hope you are! Here is a list of
supplies that we need here in the lab. If we all pitch in, it will make our
program soar....
Pencils - 5 per student
Writing/Planning Paper - wide ruled filler paper
is preferred
1 ream xerox paper -
A pump bottle of sanitizer.
Alcohol wipes or a small bottle of alcohol for
cleaning keyboard
Kleenex
We use headphones here in the lab but if you are
worried about germs, you may want to send your own to protect your child. They need to be the same type that
would go in an ipod or mp3 player.
Make sure they are labeled and in a storage bag of some sort. (This is optional)
Older students often want to move material from
one location to another. If your
child wants to do so, you may want to get them a small flash or jump drive with
a USB connector. (This is optional)
As a note, if you have beany babies that you
would like to recycle, we would love to use them as rewards for our
students. Just bag them up and
send them in!
As far as Gen Yes and iMovie Clubs, I will wait
and see the interest level and availability of funding for these programs. If you think your child would like to
be a part of these clubs, please let me know via email and I will begin to look
at prospectives for the year.
