Welcome to my web Site
I am Sue McInturf, the guidance counselor for seventh grade students at Vista Verde Middle School. I am also the International Baccalaureate Coordinator and serve as counselor to all IB students at VVMS. My office is located in the library and I am available to students before school, at lunchtime, after school and anytime they have a pass from their teacher. I have to tell you, I really like middle school kids. I like their sense of humor, their logic and their unique view of the world. This is such an important time in their lives as they transition from childhood to adolescence. Sometimes the transition is easy, other times it’s a bumpy road and I am here to do what I can to help out. I truly believe parents are the most important influence in students’ lives and I continue to encourage parents to stay involved in the day to day happenings of their middle
school student. Feel free to stop by and visit or give me a call if you have any questions. I can’t promise I’ll know all the answers but I’ll do what I can to help find a solution.
In addition to the above duties, I also serve as the AIMS coordinator and the 504 coordinator for VVMS. If you have questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
