Dr. Kurklen is at Vista Verde five days a week and offers services to students and parents alike.

Special message to Parents: As the school year continues, if you are new to our school and your child has been in special education classes previously, please get copies of your documents (psychological reports, IEP's) to Dr. Kurklen as soon as possible.

Psychologists serve a wide range of needs in schools. These include:academic problems, social/ emotional issues, special education placement, counseling, crisis intervention and outside referrals.

Motivation
Does your son or daughter seem to be lacking the interest or desire to do well in school?
He or she may respond to a school/home contract that offers rewards for work completion and successful performance.
