Expectations:
1.  Behavior and Participation:  All students are expected to participate in the assigned class activities in order to earn their 10 points in participation each day.  Students are expected to work independently or in groups as assigned and will be given a participation rubric. Students must also follow the ABC Discipline Plan and meet class expectations for behavior in order to earn their points.
2.  Classwork:  Independent and group classwork is expected to be completed in class following the assignment rubric.  Students will be learning and acquiring skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  It is extremely important that you attend class every day and participate fully in all activities to improve your language skills. Conversational skills are the foundation for the language and must be practiced daily. Assignments are due as directed.  The grade for a late assignment will be reduced by 10% of total points earned for each day late.
3.  Homework:  Assignments will be noted in student planners. Some assignments will require access to computers and the internet.  Students are responsible for letting me know if they need assistance in accessing the internet.
4.  Make-up work:  If a student has a legitimate absence or tardy, they will be given sufficient time to make up assignments.  However, it is the student's responsibility to find out what they have not completed.  Assignments will be posted on this website or you may talk to me directly.
5.  Parents/Guardians:  When notes go home, it is the student's responsibility to make sure that parents see the information and obtain a parent or guardian signature as required. Students will also need to keep their planners updated and may be required to obtain parent signature on their planners as a form of notification.
